Masses of sulfur yellow flowers and a form that has bicolored pale red and yellowish green flowers over 2cm. long, August-December. A neat compact shrub up to 2’ and taller which loves moist conditions. Requires plenty of air during winter. Height is 2’-3’ by 18-24”. It is a Cape Heath from South Africa.  Therefore, only hardy to about 28 degrees F.  We grow them successfully in the greenhouses here in Western Washington with no heat.  In the odd very cold spell, we take them into a more protected facility.  Needs an acid soil mix.
