Cream to yellow green globular flowers on medium green foliage that resembles fir needles.  Stiff habit about 10” x 12” wide.  Very rare alpine from cuttings collected from Alaska.  Hardy, but needs protection from the afternoon sun in summer.  If the roots get too hot, they die.  Need good drainage and acid soil.  Can be a fussy plant which is typical of alpines. We have found them easy to grow in pots in partial shade.
