White urn shaped bell flowers from August-December. foliage.  It grow to about 18-24” tall. It has dark, shiny green foliage.  It normally grows in colonies where the soil is well drained, but slightly clayey. It is a common Cape Heath from South Africa.  Therefore, only hardy to about 28 degrees F.  We grow them successfully in the greenhouses here in Western Washington with no heat.  In the odd very cold spell, we take them into a more protected facility.  Needs an acid soil mix. It makes a good potted plant.
