White buds, August-November, with gold foliage all year. Habit is upright at 14" tall by 18" wide. We consider this superior to ‘Sandy’ the other white bud bloomer with gold foliage. It holds the flowers more upright and the foliage is more plump. Holds buds well into winter as if still in bloom. Hybridized by Dave Wilson of B.C., Canada. Needs afternoon shade in hot climates to keep from sun burning. |
