The prolific attractive bell-shaped pink flowers are borne in early April. The leaves are very narrow producing an interesting and attractive habit. The winter color is steely blue and very distinctive. Originated as a seedling in a nursery in British Columbia, Canada.  Habit is 10-12" x 12-18" wide.  Hardy to at least USDA Zone 3.  Requires acid soil.  Spreads by underground runners.
