Pinocchio *

This is a Phyllodoce brewerii x Kalmiopsis leachiana cross.  This little shrub forms hummocks of flattened leaves. Profuse bell shaped  purplish pink flowers. This blooms April into May.  This should be treated like an alpine.  It is also choice and hard to find.  Grows up to 6" tall.  Hardiness is unknown, but it is probably quite hardy.
