Lilac to white flowers in mid summer. These are hardy to about USDA Zone 8. Might need protection at the lower end of 8. Habit is 18” x 24”. Heather mixes well with it in both the garden and in containers. Its blue green foliage is red edged and will get colorful reddish tips in winter. They prefer to be grown in poor or moderately fertile soil, moist, but well drained, neutral to slightly alkaline. They grow in sun or part shade. They do grow in acidic soil as well. |
