Lilac pink flowers, August-September, with yellow foliage in summer turning a rich, rusty orange to red from autumn to spring. Narrow erect racemes with flowers having up to eight deeply colored bracts. Spreading compact habit. Very hardy—from Sweden. Bushy 12" tall x 18" wide. Doesn't flower a lot, so it is a better looking foliage plant in winter without the spent flowers. Does sunburn in hot climates. |
